~*A Christmas Present*~

Hello Dear Friends! I thought I would share with you one of the gifts my dear hubby gave me for Christmas. He always treats me with the greatest gifts. One year he gave me a new sewing machine, another year a new rug hooking frame & hook, and another year it was a large bottle full of buttons that he found while browsing through an antique store ~ by himself. Well, this year he gave me boxes. I'll share one of them with you today... and the others in a later post.

This was the biggest one... and he gave me the *hint* before I opened it that he should have bought it for himself. ha ha...

A machinist's tool chest!

Yes, Tony could use this himself to hold all his tools and rc car parts... but he bought this one for me.

Just look at all these drawers!

What am I going to do with this? Well... this is how my DMC collection looked before...

And this is how it looks now...

Pretty cool huh?

Tony had a nice smile this morning. I gave him my plastic drawer bins after I emptied them out. He was happy!

Moving & organizing my DMC makes me want to get my punchneedle out... but I have too many projects going & they are all in various states of completion. So I better get some finishes first. These little heart pins are one of them...

Wishing you all warm smiles...

Betty

  13. OMG, I can't believe what I just saw.

First an awesome gift from your husband...how sweet of him, especially when he wanted one for himself.

Second...your plastic storage bin drawers ....that is EXACTLY how I am currently storing my DMC floss, by colors and in the same plastic storage drawers that you have pictured. It was like looking into my craft closet here at home. That was a good laugh for me. :-)

Well, glad you are even more organized. BTW: Love all of your work.
