~*Dad*~

We are not mourning a loss... we will celebrate a life. My Dad passed over night. He touched many lives during his lifetime and has left lasting, loveable memories. He had several family members with him, by his side for his last breath. He will be missed... but will always be loved.

I know my Dad will always be with me, watching over me. I know too that I will see him again.

I love you Dad.

  11. Oh Betty, I am so sad. I cannot imagine what it would be like to lose my Daddy. Even knowing that I would see him again, it would still hurt to live out the rest of my life without his hugs and words of wisdom.

  27. Hi Betty, I am new to blogging myself, and when I read about your dad, well, my heart just reached out across however many miles there are from here, to there. I read a beautiful poem today on cabincreekfarm blogspot by Henry Scott Holland that I actually had to go and get my journal and write down. It talks about how we are just as close now, as when our loved ones were with us...I know how much I love my dad, and it seems you loved your dad as much, maybe more...just wrap your arms around yourself and feel his presense my dear...he will always be with you in those places where love never dies! Blessings, Cathryn

  29. Dearest Betty:
I've been trying to spend less time online and more time working and with family. One of the unfortunate side effects is that I don't always "hear" some news as quickly when I'd like.

I may be late in adding my condolences, but they are none the less deeply heartfelt.

Your sweetness and light are a wonderful testament to your father's life.

    Hugs & Prayers... *Linda*
