~*Seriously?*~

Hello Dear Friends! We are about to be hit with some storms, maybe severe, today. Really, I did want it to rain so I could have an excuse to stay away from the gardens today. I do have so much more work to do with planting and weeding, but I wanted to stay in today to stitch, hook, and punch. However... this MUST take priority...

It is rather embarrassing really...

Every nook & cranny, and table top in my work area is full...

It wouldn't make any issue of Where Women Create...

What a mess...

Well, I guess you can see why I haven't been getting anything done. So, today, before any fiber playin'... there must be some cleanin'! Hopefully my next post will be full of GOOD photos! Maybe even some finishes?

Wishing you all warm smiles,

Betty

  1. I can relate! I start out neat as a pin and then it seems a frenzy takes over ... and then I tidy up again and then the frenzy takes over .... etc! Smile your not alone.

  2. I clean mine and then trash it, every time I make something new, lol. Sometimes it is fun to clean, you find things you forgot about and get ideas for new things.

What a brave woman you are. I don't think you have much of a mess~most of it looks nice & orderly. I don't think I could ever post pics of my work areas. I have stuff everywhere. I could clean it up, but then I wouldn't be able to find anything.LOL Have a wonderful day!

  4. Betty,
Thank you so much for sharing!!! I now know that I am not alone! My work area can no longer be found under all the piles... But with my freetime so limited, I rather create than clean. And usually I am bumping up against one deadline or another. *sigh* Maybe your before and after pics will help motivate me. Or I might just be a lost cause...

  6. Boy how I can relate to this post. My room was clean a few weeks ago, but now it looks like a bomb went off in there. I honestly think it's a continuing battle to keep it clean when we're creating.

  7. Ha! I love Where Women Create... although your pics SHOULD make the cut because that's what our spaces usually look like in the real world!

  8. I can sure relate to your work area, Betty. Mine is such a mess right now, not sure where I would start to clean. We are supposed to have severe storms too, possible tornadoes. Stay safe.

  9. Oh, Betty! You are probably the norm. It's hard to be creative and neat all at the same time. You can clean up the mess when it's done. Enjoy you time inside!

  11. Love your blog so creative. Where and how do you get all the time to do all the things you create. My garden is really very sad this year as I hve the house up for sale. Gotta move on. LenZie
