~*Friday unFinishes*~

Hello Dear Friends! Sadly, I do not have any ~*Friday Finishes*~ to share with you today... none of others and none of mine. However, I can share some ~*unFinishes*~ with you...

I've been toting my stitching around all week... catching a few stitches here and there. I'm working on Prairie Cloth. I do just love this fabric. It is a larger weaver which makes focusing much easier. I'm not working from patterns... just doing my blind stitching. My hope is that these pieces will be finished into something before tomorrow evening's Early Work Mercantile update.

I've been doing some baking this week too. Last night, I noticed the bananas were getting rather ripe... so I baked a batch of Banana Nut Muffins. And this morning, since my step-dad is so excited about today's Royal Wedding... I baked him a batch of Blueberry Pecan Scones. The house is smelling Heavenly... and I have been trying very hard to stick to my diet... and it is getting tougher and tougher!

Wishing you all warm smiles...

  1. Beautiful unfinishes Betty! Unfinishes are good too!

  2. The sneak peek is lookin' simply mahveous!!!! Your baking smells divine! You may have even inspired me to get the blueberries from the freezer and make some muffins! :-) I'm still working on my finish of one of your patterns! Should be next Friday... ;-)

  3. Hoping that someday I'll be stitching without a pattern, just not quite there yet. I'll check in on EWM tomorrow, I'm taking a break this month. I can smell the blueberries,yum..

    Have a great weekend!

  4. Blueberry pecan scones sound good to me, too. Are you sharing the recipe?

Any stitching done is better than no stitching!

    Happy Stitching!

  5. Oh I could smell the banana bread as I read your post....YUM!

I would love to try Prairie cloth one day. Your WIPs are lovely. I know what ya mean, I have my stitching bag with me all week and had so many distractions......I have alot of making up to do this weekend.
