~*Friday Finishes*~

WooHoo! It is Friday! You know, I've never been a coffee drinker & always would say I didn't like it. Although, I've always loved the way it smells. Apparently I'm growing up! It seems I've developed a great fondness for Vanilla Cappuccino! Yummy! So, now instead of starting my day with the usual ice tea or Diet Pepsi (ya, I know bad bad bad!)... Cappuccino it is! Heck, maybe I'll even try a real coffee one of these day!

Okay... you may have found that silly... but that is me!

Alright... enough of that... now on to some delightfully beautiful ~*Friday Finishes*~!

This first finish comes from Brook... from my pattern ~*Friendship Book*~...

She made a few personal changes to the design (which is always alright with me)... and she has big plans for her book. Brook does work in Honduras for The Carrizo Project. This is a project designed to help disabled and under-served individuals handicrafts... and how to be more independent productive citizens. She visits Honduras three to four times a year. Her next visit is scheduled for April... and she plans to have the women she visits with sign her book. What a treasure to cherish always!

Thank you, Brook, for stitching and sharing! Have a fun & safe trip!

These lovely finishes are from Cindy...

This is her adaptation of ~*Spring Pillow Tuck*~... and oh~so~pretty it is! She used a 32 count linen with Crescent Colors Bing Cherry...

And her finish of the freebie ~*Young Girl Sampler*~... she used a 32 ct linen for it also, and wasn't exactly sure on her thread fibers but thinks it may be The Gentle Art Sarsaparilla...

Cindy, they are both very nice! Thank you again for stitching & sharing. I just love to see your work!

Thank you to all of you for sending your finishes. It is so nice to be able to see them and share them. Keep them coming!

Wishing you all warm smiles...

  1. Betty~
    Sweet finishes!
I couldn't start my day without my diet Coke & have been doing it for decades.
    Happy weekend to you!
    Pug hugs :)

  2. Hi Betty,
I love coffee after dinner but to start my day I pop open a Diet's so cold and just hearing that "crack" when I pop the tab starts my day off right!!! Doing it for decades too, like Lauren!!

  3. Great Friday finishes! My blood is half coffee and half chocolate... ;-)

  4. Thanks for your kind words Betty...and for sharing all the finishes!
    Enjoy your weekend!

  5. Oh, I am with Ms. Moosecraft.... Love me my coffee and chocolate!.... do you think that could be the cause of my insomnia these days???

  6. My taste for coffee fluctuates with the season - right now I'm enjoying half & half with a scant spoon of sugar. I do like the flavored creamers (already have sugar). But before long it will be time for yummy iced coffee!

  7. I love my coffee but have to limit the caffeine so drink 1/2 decaf. Never had a cappaccino, not even sure what they are.

  8. Love these! They really are just tops! I also only love the way coffee smells...but in recent years I started liking coffee ice cream and other sweets, and now that my friend bought a Nespresso machine I love the decaf type it makes! I really don't care for the way caffeine in coffee runs roughshod over one; I much prefer tea!

But, it is fun to enjoy the taste and aroma once in a while!

  9. Oh, I can't recall if I managed to praise these friday finishes! I especially love the first two!! I myself have a couple (I think) of your designs with the stitching finished, but I need to do the "finishing" on them and send them over to you.

I so love Friday Finishes; thank you for the work you put into this feature!
