~*Ahhhhhhh Kansas ~ The Land of Oz*~
Hi Friends! I just returned home from an hour long walk through the fields and along the dirt road behind our home.... I took our new camera to play with & thought you might enjoy some of our scenery.
The day is beautiful here... hope it is where you are too!
Smiles,
Betty

Very nice pictures Betty. I can't WAIT till it starts greening up here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to walk, wide open spaces.
ReplyDeleteI am so ready for spring and getting out for walks.

I have been to the midwest many times so I don't know why it surprises me how FLAT it is!! No wonder tornados pick up so much speed there in OZ!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like your having a great day! We had wonderful weather here today too and a great deal of it was spent outside. I'm looking forward to spring, too!

I have such an attraction to wide open fields like that!! Just want to jump in a big tractor and work away. . . . my friends think I am crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great walk. Wish I would take that first step!
ReplyDeleteHope you evening is just as good.
Wow, it's so open - with no houses! I always get great ideas from your freebie projects. I was inspired yesterday, and drew up my own punch project for spring.

Really nice pic's Betty. No hills out your way lol? I always feel like I"m on a roller coaster where I live.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've got some nice area's to walk. Very peaceful.
It looks like the Netherlands, if only they'd get rid of all the people and buildings. LOL. Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhh... Is right! So peaceful to the eyes and spirit! I bet the air smells nice and fresh too! Clicking my heels 3 times for flowers, flowers, and more flowers...soon! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't the weather just perfect?! Especially today and tomorrow when I'll welcome the 70's with open arms. You got some great pictures with your new camera. Wide open spaces. I'd still love to live in the country, even though I know I don't want to deal with propane, septic and a well. I had enough of that in Maine. But I'm still a country girl at heart.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time with Trinity this week while the kids are off for spring break. Any plans for a picnic with him? Or going to the park for swinging?
The land looks like it is ready for planting of seed!
ReplyDeleteLove the open fields and what a great place to walk. Wish I could join you.
