Hello Dear Friends! Things are moving right along next door on the studio. I was going to wait to show you an update until the floors were finished... buy my knees needed a break this morning during clean up & prepping...
The floors will be painted tomorrow! YIPPEE! That means that after they cure for a few days... I can start moving stuff in!
Remember reading about my textured walls? Well, here they are all finished...
(I fashioned a simple wreath for the front door & my loving hubby strung a few lights on the porch... I'll get a snap of those later.)
(I didn't get a very good shot of the ceiling fans... but my loving hubby installed those this past weekend.)
In hindsight, I probably would have put the dark paint color on the walls first with the lighter over it, but I like them. At first, I was shocked & not sure... but they are growing on me. They really did finish up prim. Some close-ups...
I think it has been about 3 months of work... and over 4 years of dreaming & planning... but it is becoming a reality. I am so excited to be having my dream come true... and so very thankful too. My husband has put up with me & worked hard shedding lots of blood, sweat, and tears... I couldn't have done this without him.
Wishing you all warm smiles....
Betty
