~*A New Beginning...*~

of a new year, with a new hook,

and a blank canvas...

Yes, I have gobs of other projects in varies states of completion... but I'm just itching to start something new. Maybe because it is a new year? Or maybe that is just me... always have the wheels turning with ideas.

Tony and I stopped by an antique store yesterday. He found a cool 'Coca Cola' ice pick for only a few dollars... and had the idea to make me another rug hook. How cool!

Believe me, I didn't waste any time getting a crochet hook to him ~ so he could get the new rug hook made. Now I'm ready to give it a try! I wonder what will become of that blank canvas?

Wishing you all warm smiles...

Betty

  6. what a wonderful old new hook! And what a great idea to make one using the coca cola handle - I'll have to start looking around to see what I have at home that might be used in that way. Can you tell me what crochet hook you used for it? Thanks!

  7. Thanks all! Gayle, this one is a size F crochet hook, but we have made them using a J hook before too. Oh, and for those interested... Tony may be making more to sell. :)
