Hello Dear Friends!
Today, I wanted to take advantage of the nice weather. I decided to work on a project from my shed. Not too long ago, I picked up this old, busted bench...
From our work in the pole barn last weekend... we unloaded a bunch of old wood. I saved some for this project!
My good buddy, Brownie, kept me company while the paint was slinging...
This project didn't take much time... but it turned out kinda, primitive~cute!
The base was painted with red chalk paint... the top was white~washed. I coated the entire bench with paste wax. A nice little accent piece!
I love the old knot hole!!!
I have also been keeping busy with the needles today. A few more needlepunch projects are finished and will be shared later... but, for this evening... back to that Santa I posted about earlier. It is giving me fits!
Wishing you warm smiles...
Betty
I love it!
ReplyDeleteWow! What an awesome table!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Red is my all time favorite color-can you tell me which brand of chalk paint you used?
ReplyDeleteYes, the red was an Annie Sloan paint.
DeleteLove how it came out, just the right amount of painting and leftover aged pieces.
