~*Craft Show*~

Hello Dear Friends! The craft show is over. The show was at our local shopping mall... a small town mall with only a few shops. The Easter Bunny showed up & so did several nice folks. I did the show with my sweet SIL, Robin, and we truly enjoyed the day. Here are just some random shots of our tables before the show started. It was hard to get a 'pretty' shot because there wasn't a great 'prim' background to work with... but here they are...

Our tables are filled with hooked rugs, Oxford mats, needlepunch goodies, some cross stitch, some potpourri that Robin mixed up, and some really cool canning jars that Robin and her hubby added soap pumps to...

We were in front of an empty mall spot on one side and a very busy couple of clothing stores on the other side...

We were 'neighbors' with Robin's friend Carol Miller... who takes the most beautiful pictures. I didn't get a shot of her booth when it was set up. You can see her husband's shoulder working on set up.

We didn't 'sell out', but did sell some. The folks browsing seemed very interested in what we did. Our booth was very different from the others set up. Plus, Robin worked on needlepunch and I on Oxford during the day. She even gave a couple of 4H girls a lesson. They may be picking up the medium.

A big THANK YOU goes out to the folks that shopped, visited, and made our day so enjoyable! Oh... and another big THANK YOU to Robin! She made us the most awesome lunch ~ a deLISH salad and bowl of fresh fruit!! :)

I have plans and hopes to put the remaining items in my Etsy shoppe. But first... I have some catching up to do around here. Our poor house has been neglected for the past couple of weeks... and then there is the monthly hook-in tomorrow morning at the quilt shop... and that sampler that I gave you a sneak peek of awhile back... always lots to do! So... I better get to work!

Have a great Sunday... and ya know I'm wishing you warm smiles...

Betty

  3. You've got some fantastic items... displayed just right too! I like the potpourri in the enamel pot... very clever! I guess I had better get busy stitching too, if you're going to be releasing more patterns! lol!

  4. Everything looked wonderful Betty! It's always fun getting others interested in what you are doing. I hope the girls in 4-H do something with what they saw!
As much fun as the shows are, I can totally relate to the house being neglected. Hope you can get it back in order and back to stitching more to show us :)

  14. You certainly put a lot of time and work into your show - your table looked great and filled with wonderful treasures! Sometimes it's good to be the "unique" one - maybe you can find another venue to set up and you'll be ahead of the game!
