~*Friday Finishes*~

Hello Dear, Sweet Friends! There are several, fabulous ~*Friday Finishes*~ to share this week. Enjoy... and be ready to drool ~ they are all so GREAT!

These first couple are stitched up by Evelyn...

~*Blessings*~... and check out that dolly! DARLING!

And then a GREAT trash~to~treasure! Evelyn used the bird from ~*Oh Sweet Valentine*~ for the topper of her ~really cool~ candle holder. How sweet is that?!

I noticed on her blog too... she is also stitching up ~*Thankful*~. She is one stitchy gal now!

These next beauties are stitched up by Cindy... again, I just love 'em! She told me she had stitched them up to offer at the local mercantile for the Open House, but now is thinking of keeping them for herself. I would be thinking the same way.

~*Silent Holy Night*~

~*Thankful*~

A spooky, ~*Wicked*~ stitched by Carin... check out the fibers she used. Mustard Colored linen... how cool is that?

A darling needlepunch of ~*Falling Leaves*~ crafted by Laura...

Laura offers many of her great wares on Ebay... you can see them by CLICKING HERE or searching seller id appleberrycottage. She has this finish listed now.

Michelle has also stitched up ~*Wicked*~... another darling ditty! CHECK OUT THE SPIDER SHE ADDED! Creepily creative & cute!

Here is some sweet, prim~stitching by Rondell... ~*Falling Leaves*~...

and, still a work in progress... but I had to share it for the holiday... ~*Boo Jack*~...

Oh goodness... they are all so GREAT & bring such a smile to my face! Thank you, all of you, for stitching, punching, crafting, and sharing!

I would like to wish you all a very safe & fun Halloween... don't eat too many candies and watch out for those goblins!

Warm smiles to you...

~*Friday Finishes*~

Hello My Dear Friends! It has been another hectic week & it seems I've been so quiet on my blog. Ssshhhhh.... sorry for that! BUT, here are LOTS of fabulous freebie finishes to share! Enjoy!

From Gayle... the first shared finish of ~*Thankful*~. Isn't this darling? Making two pillows is a great idea! Gayle's color choices are so soft & comforting too.

From Iulia in Italy... another awesome ~*Wicked*~ finish. Striking!

From Karen... a super SWEET ~*Blessings*~ finish. Karen made this for a friend's baby girl for a Christmas present. Her choice of pink fibers, adding the crown, and personalizing with the name... so SWEET!

From Evelyn... ~*Silent Holy Night*~ finish. Would you believe this is her first cross stitch? Evelyn did a charming job stitching & finishing. And... I see on her blog she has also stitched up ~*Wicked*~ and is working on a ~*Blessings*~ stitch too. Great!

From Sadie... another sweet ~*Wicked*~ finish. She says she stitched this on a lazy Saturday evening. Hmmm... I don't call that lazy. Do you?

And from Robin... my super sweet, sister~in~law... a nifty, needlepunch finish of ~*Home Freebie*~. Robin used a palette of great Fall colors. I like how she used two shades of burnt orange for the house... gives it more detail & contrast. She offers many of her finishes wares on Ebay too... check 'em out by CLICKING HERE or searching seller id kansaskountrykrafts.

Thank you ALL ~ for stitching and sharing! I so LOVE to see these finishes! It truly warms my heart to know that you have all worked with loving care to craft these works of 'heart'.

Warm smiles to you...

Betty

~*Friday Finishes*~

Hello Dear Friends! It is that time again... Friday Finishes! Today I have several sweet ones to share...

Barbara stitched ~*Wicked*~ and constructed this really DARLING lil' pillow. I just love the lace trim ~ still primitive, but with a shabby~chic touch. Sweet isn't it?

(Barbara is having a give~away on her blog too... to celebrate her 1000th post! Swing by & take a looksey!)

My good buddy, Sharon, has been stitching up a storm! She also stitched & finished ~*Wicked*~. Another GREAT one! I really like her display too. Gathering a bowl full of acorns is an inexpensive, but super sweet & warm Autumn touch. Sharon said her pinkeep finished to a size of only 2 by 6 inches. While stuffing it, she said she couldn't help but think it looked like a bone at that size... adding to the Halloween charm.

She also finished the ~*Blue Tulip & Bunny Sewie Roll*~... adding her own initials for that personal touch. (This pattern is available for purchase... you can see it HERE at my Etsy shoppe.)

Sharon used Valdani varigated threads for each finish. I have yet to try these ~ but really do admire the finished works I've seen using them.

This ~*Black Cat & Jack*~ finish has been needle punched by Laura. Another GREAT finish! I adore the horn book! Horn books seem to be very popular now. The ones that aren't exactly symmetrical from side to side are even more charming. To me, they are more early looking & warm.

Thank you ladies for stitching & punching... and for sharing! Keep 'em coming too! Email me finishes PLEASE so I can show them off!

Wishing you all warm smiles...

Betty

(seems I've used the word 'warm' several times in this post along... can you tell it is a cold Autumn day here?) :)

~*Friday Finishes*~

Good Day Dear Friends! I'm keeping my promise of sharing ~*Friday Finishes*~! I've got to admit, I was somewhat worried about keeping a deadline... 'cause if you know me ~ you know how I often wait until the very last minute & stretch the limit with crossing the finish line. BUT... I've made it today!

I've received emails for two fabulous finishes this week. Both are in the ~*Halloween*~ spirit. Enjoy!

Nan has stitched up a ~*Wicked*~ lil' pinkeep...

The coffee stained linen and the touches of orange floss are perfect! Plus, the skeleton key is a sweet lil' accent. Wickedly Darling!

Cindy has punched up ~*Boo Jack*~ & placed it on the top of a paper mache' box...

The colors Cindy choose really add to the Halloween Spirit ~ the bright orange & purple border. So sweet! I really like how 'Boo' was punched too... kind of a ghostly lettering effect, don't ya think?

Cindy was offering this at her local mercantile. I was 'was' because she has already sold it. WTG Cindy!

Thank you, both of you, for working with the freebies and sharing. I do love to see finishes!

Everyone, keep 'em coming!

As for finishes here at home... well, guess I'm a slacker. I don't any new ones. Although, I have baked two batches of cookies, and several loaves of banana nut bread this week!

Wishing you all a fabulous Friday with many warm smiles,

Betty

~*Friday Finishes*~

Hello Dear Friends! I've done this on Friday before, but think it is a good idea to try from now on out too... to post ~*Friday Finishes*~. I'll save this day to post the finishes by others, and maybe some of my own along the way. Of course, I would love to share finishes everyday ~ but with life as it is, Friday seems like a good day to save them for. So... let me begin...

First up is a fabulous, ~*Time*~ freebie finish by Jackie. Jackie purchased the frame from her local Hobby Lobby. I thought it was a striking accent for her stitched finish. Don't you agree? Lovely, Jackie!

This one was punched by C.C.. It is from the freebie ~*Boo Jack*~. C.C. backed the pillow with black velvet & added a couple of tan, velvet tabs... then ran a beautiful, organza ribbon to finish it off. I love the color variation in Jack's face and the background. Very darling indeed!

Now for a finish that had lots of loving hands work tirelessly on...

Yup, our roof is finished. Hooray! We still need to add the lightening rods back to the top & place our vintage weather vane on its new spot (centered on the main peak rather than stuck off on the side over the garage)... but it is done. We couldn't be happier!

Thank you to Jackie & C.C. for sharing your finish finishes! Thank you to our great family for helping with the roof. :)

Wishing you all warm smiles,

Betty

Tonight we are headed out for some fun ~ the local car club is having 'cruise night'. Trinity has a few he would like to show ~ so we will see how he does. :) (He has a HUGE collection of HotWheels & has a few of his more favorite to put on display. LOL) I'm also thinking supper out would be a good thing too!

~*I'm Still Here*~

Hello Dear Friends! Yes, I'm still here... just have continued to be busy. That is just the norm now ~ must be. I have pictures ~ gobs of 'em ~ adding up on my camera that I desperately need to get transferred to the computer. There are pictures of the birthday bash from a few weeks ago, lots of crafty things, and lots of trash~to~treasure pieces that I've been working on. I want to share them all with you. Once I can find a few minutes, I promise to get caught up! I really do!

I need to apologize to Judy. She sent me a photo of her finished, first needle punch project almost a week ago... and I'm just know getting a chance to share it. Judy, I'm sorry to take so long with the posting. You have really done a marvelous job! The fact that you are a fine quilter shows in your craftsmanship. WOW! Perfecto perfection! :) Judy used the freebie doodle ~*Boo Jack*~.

Thank you, Judy, for working with the doodle & sharing!

Please keep an eye out... more posts to be written, photos uploaded, and sharing in the near future!

Wishing you many warm smiles...

Betty

~*Sharing Some Stitchin's*~

Hello Dear Friends! I've got several goodies I wanna share with you today... all crafy too!

My dear friend Lori has been punchin' a huge flock (or would that be herd?) of sheep!

She does a show each Fall where she offers the most spectacular hand~dids. I sure wish I lived closer to Michigan so I could see 'em in person... and buy! Lori used my ~*Symple ~ Herb Filled Sheep Ornie*~ pattern to make these. Aren't they just darling? She used match sticks that she painted black for the legs, hand stitched the backs, and then added a hanger to each. I just LOVE how she used different floss to add yet more variety. Awesome! She is gonna sell out fast ~ isn't she?

This darling, Halloween pillow was stitched up by Kathy (no blog or online album). Kathy has done a great job with her stitching and her display. What a great lil' Halloween treat indeed! The pattern for this ditty is one of my freebies... ~*Boo Jack*~ Cross Stitch Chart. I also offered this as a freebie doodle to use for needle punch, rug hooking, or whatever your desired medium.

This next ditty was stitched up by Susan (no blog or online album). Susan will be offering her delightful wares at Lori Brechlin's... aka Notforgotten Farm upcoming gathering. (The gathering will be held at Lori's shop on September 19th. To get more information for the gathering ~ click here.) Susan stitched up this pillow with inspiration from my ~*School Girl Pocket*~ pattern. She stitched on orange prairie cloth, filled it with rags (clean I'm sure!), and added a lil' decoration of a bow with black & white beads. This has become a great display piece for Autumn. Wonderful, Susan!

~*~*~*~ I'm editing to add... I just found out that Susan has an Etsy Shoppe that she will be offering her fine ditties on soon. She said after Lori's show, she will be adding goodies up for offering. You might want to mark her shoppe as a favorite & plan to visit soon. Her shoppe is called Olde Threads. Great name huh? :) ~*~*~*~

You can see my pattern offerings at my Etsy Shoppe if you are interested. Also, remember my freebies are all in one spot too... just click here.

What have I been craftin' on you might ask? Well, I have more naked dollies...

I probably should get away from the computer now & get them dressed!

Warm smiles to you all...

Betty

~*Sharing More Fabulous Finishes*~

Hello Dear Friends! Thank you to all of you for the kind comments about my latest patterns. There are more in the works & I'm doing my best to stay focused. School started yesterday. Trinity is loving 2nd grade!

The monthly hook~in is tomorrow morning at Judy Cripps' & I really should be getting something together to take... I have no idea yet what it will be even... but I've gotten several emails of FABULOUS finishes that I wanna share with you first... ENJOY ~

This one is gonna win a Blue Ribbon ~ I'm sure of it! My good friend, Kathy, punched up the freebie doodle ~*Falling Leaves*~ and has plans to enter it in the Fair next month. Aren't the leaves and background... well the whole thing really!... just AMAZING?! Stunning, truly stunning!

I've got a few ~*Wicked*~ finishes to share! :)

These lil' pillows were stitched up by Cindy & she has them offered in her Etsy Shoppe! (along with a few other familiar sweets too) These lil' pillows do look so darling in her display, don't they? Cindy has suggested they would make great Halloween Hostess gifts & I totally agree! Very cool!

This one is from Dora... no blog yet she says. Dora pre-stained Osnaburg fabric with coffee. She pre-stained it because she used some overdyed threads (Weeks: Bright Leaf, Sweet Potato, Swamp Water, Gentle Art: Simply Shaker Grape Arbor and DMC 310). That is a really good idea! (Overdyed threads are great, but they can bleed if they get wet. It would be terrible to put in all that work & then have the fibers stain where you don't want them too.) Amazing work!

And this one if from Jen & is so simply, perfectly prim! Her words "All antiqued and wrinkled..." Just perfect!

I just LOVE all these finishes! Don't you?! Thank you Ladies for working with the doodles & charts... and for sharing! You have all made super works!

Time to gather up my stuff for the hook~in. Other than linen & wool... I'm still not sure what to take. Hummm.... guess I'll report back on that later!

Warm smiles to you all...
Betty

~*Sharing More!*~

Hello Dear Friends! I've got more to share with you ~ more fabulous finishes that is!

This one is from Sam & such a unique finish too! Sam used the freebie ~*Black Cat & Jack*~. Isn't it interesting how she added her needlepunch to the lil' dust pan? It really is so neat to see all the different finishes of the freebies & this is no exception! Thank you, Sam, for punching & sharing!

These are not from a freebie pattern... but I wanted to share them anyway. My good friend, Sharon (who is just starting a blog & I'M SURE will keep it amusing with her witty sense of humor!) just punched up these dollies last week. This pattern is called ~* Punkin and Holly *~ and can be purchased directly from me for $10 if you are interested. (pattern has instructions for both dollies) Sharon does quality works always & has finished these lil' ones so sweetly!

Thank you, Sharon, for working with my patterns & sharing your finishes!

My NEXT post will be to announce my latest cross stitch finishes! I've got to take pictures & work up the covers... then they will be available. :)

Until then, warm smiles to you all...

~*More Fabulous Finishes!*~

Hello Dear Friends! Goodness, I feel like I'm behind on posting! It has been yet another busy weekend... seems that is the norm now days! (Have I said that before? probably!!!) There were several emails of fabulous finishes come to my inbox over the past few days ~ that I'm tickled to share with you. Take a look!

Karen has been craftin' up a storm! She has finished BOTH ~*Wicked*~ and ~*Halloween Cat*~! I love how she added the lil' extras on ~*Wicked*~... with the lace, buttons, and rusty pin. So sweet!

Karen is now offering her wares on Ebay. Both these pieces are for sale currently. Her Ebay id is krf89.

This one isn't a freebie, but I wanted to share with you just the same. This was stitched up by Ann. (no blog/album) She has stitched up my ~*Hope*~ pinkeep pattern and attached a linen string for hanging. I just love how sweetly, prim it is.

This one comes from Bill in Toulouse, Southwestern France. It was stitched as a gift for a friend using part of the ~*Spring Freebie*~. If finished so pretty & I'm sure is a treasured gift indeed!

It is so much fun & gives me such joy to see finishes from my charts & doodles! Thank you to all of you for stitching and sharing!

~*More Sharing*~

Hello Dear Friends! I've received more freebie finishes ~ fabulous ones ~ to share! I do so enjoy getting emails of your works... so please keep 'em coming!

Christie is the first to stitch & share ~*Wicked*~. Quick huh? Christie used 32ct Raw Belfast linen with Weeks Dye Works Threads in shades of Mascara and Amber. Wonderful fiber choices, don't ya think? She said she is going to stitch another for her Mom too. Lovely stitches!

I'm also delighted to share another super, needlepunch by Charlene. Her works always brighten my day! Charlene chooses colors that are just 'cheery' & bring JOY! Her finish of ~*Halloween Cat*~ is no exception. Lookie!

~*Sharing More Fabulous Finishes*~

Hello Dear Friends! I hope you have all had a grand, holiday weekend full of JOY! We celebrated at my BIL and SILs annual 4th of July Party on their farm. They always put on a super party & my BIL goes over and beyond for the fireworks show! It was really a special night.

I've received a few more fabulous finishes that I'm really excited to share with you!

This first one is from Eliza. She really made this one SWEET as pie! She added some personal touches & made this into a 'pin thingy' (I LOVE that she called it that... I use the word thingy all the time... too cute!). The red, white, and blue is perfect for the season too.

Next up... and I don't know how she can work so quickly... is an awesome needlepunch from Doris (no blog). I was shocked to see she had already punched up the ~*Black Cat & Jack*~ freebie doodle. I'm thinking she must not EVER sleep... just punches 24/7! Doris, you gotta tell us how you get so much done. :)

Don't you just love her choice of colors? The hints of turquoise on the scallops add a very nice touch. Wonderful!

Doris sells many of her works on Ebay with the seller id of ~ wellingtonwoolies. I'm not sure if this one will be an offering... but she has many others you will want to see.

Thank you Ladies... for working with my charts & doodles and for sharing!

Many warm smiles to you...

~*Freebie Finishes*~

Hello Dear Friends! The week has continued BUSY, but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. There are some open times on the calendar in the next few days! I WILL be posting at least one new FREEBIE doodle and/or chart by the end of the week. So, please, keep watching!

Until then, I have some awesome new freebie finishes to share!

Karen (no blog or online album yet) has been one busy girl! She has made all of these...

Using the ~*Symple Scissor FOB*~ chart, she whipped up a sweet lil' needlebook. What a darling place to store your needles.

This one she finished as a 'stand up' and sold it on Ebay. Cute Cute Cute! This is from the doodle ~*Happy and Joyful Bunnies*~.

This one... well... what else could I say? B-E-A-U-T-F-U-L! The satin touches & pearl pins just are the perfect finish for this flat-fold. The chart for this one was ~*Spring Freebie*~.

Another view ~

This next finish was made by Cathi. She started with inspiration from ~*Hearts Pair 1857*~... but took it so much further. WOW! She changed the date to her anniversary & added her's and her hubby's initials ~ making it so sweetly, special! She framed it in a simple frame purchased from Walmart, but aged it up some with Bri-Wax. So sweet!

Thank you ladies for playing with my charts & doodles... and for sharing! I've said it before, but will say it again... I LOVE to see your awesome finishes! PLEASE keep 'em coming!

Okay... I'm off for another full day... but remember, by the end of the week I'll have a gift or two for ya!

Warm smiles...

Betty

p.s. I've taken a vacation month on The Primitive Gathering, but do hope to do an update on Lemon Poppy Seeds soon. Sorry about the delay... I'm not sure why these are called the 'Lazy Days of Summer'.
